Consists of articles, pamphlets, speeches, book reviews of books written or co-written by Braverman, religious school materials, correspondence, and honors and awards, given to, or established by, Libbie Braverman. The collection is of particular interst to researchers studying the development of Jewish education, especially the congregational weekend school. In addition, her articles on life in Palestine in the 1930s and 1940s are significant.

Libbie L. Braverman was a a nationally prominent teacher, author, lecturer, and consultant in the field of Jewish education. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she moved to Cleveland, Ohio while in high school. She received a teaching certificate from Cleveland Normal School (ca. 1920) and a B.S. in Education from Western Reserve University in 1933.
